General Eco Tech Limited ("GETL", "we", "us") is a Bangladesh-based manufacturer and exporter of recycled PET flakes and PET strapping band. We are the controller of personal information collected through this website.

When you request a quotation, send an enquiry, ask for a sample or message us, you may give us:

• Your name, company name and job title
• Email address, phone or WhatsApp number
• Country, destination port and delivery requirements
• Product, quantity, Incoterm and any other details in your message

If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, we receive the information you send us in that conversation.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web server may log technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the date and time of the visit. This helps us keep the site secure and working properly.

Information we do not collect

We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data. Please do not include it in your messages.

• Authorities: where the law requires it.

Third-party services on this site

• Google Fonts loads typefaces, so your browser contacts Google servers.
• jsDelivr serves a script library and map data for the export map.
• WhatsApp opens when you tap a WhatsApp link, and is then governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
• Social links to Facebook and LinkedIn take you to those sites, which have their own policies.

International transfers

We export to buyers in more than twenty countries, and our partners may be located outside Bangladesh. When we send your information to another country, we share only what is needed for the task and ask the recipient to protect it appropriately.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to an order: kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised.
• Orders and export records: kept for the period required by Bangladeshi tax, customs and company law.
• Server logs: kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including limiting access to people who need it. No internet transmission is completely secure, so please avoid sending confidential data such as bank card numbers by email or chat.
